Sara has over twenty years of extensive training and consulting experience serving local, national and global clients. Seven years ago she used that experience to launch Sentient Consultants, which today has grown to a team of over 25 trainers, consultants and project managers under the new name of deepSEE Consulting. She and the rest of her team at deepSEE work with high-performing individuals, teams and organizations to create greater success in the areas of Organizational Effectiveness, Leadership and Diversity. Her specialty is in the area of cultural competency and leadership development. Sara holds a Master's degree in Diversity and Organizational Development from the University of Minnesota and has held positions such as Leadership and Diversity Specialist at the University of Minnesota, Extension and Director of Diversity for Ramsey County in St. Paul, Minnesota. She has certifications in numerous models, tools and assessments including the IDI, ICS (Intercultural Conflict Styles), MBTI, InsideOut Coaching, and Situational Leadership, to name a few. At work meetings she often insists on good food at the table such as take out from deepSEE's favorite local Thai restaurant and an abundance of the right kind of chocolate. Fortunately, this sort of bribe usually works in order to refuel staff and to ensure that they keep up with her boundless energy.
